How Your Organization Thinks About AI

Wren, the Foundation's AI guide, talks it through with you in about five minutes, then suggests three next steps. Chat, talk out loud, answer quick questions, send a voice memo, or ask for a call.

General guidance, not your organization's approval. Your board or club decides your rules.

Created using AI tools

Chatting or talking with Wren uses Claude, an AI from Anthropic, through the Foundation's server. We don't store the conversation; it stays in your browser until you close the page, and a count of turns (no words) is logged to keep costs in check. If you tick Remember, this browser keeps only the next steps Wren suggested, never your words, until you press Forget. Talking uses your browser's own speech service, which may send your voice to Google, Apple or Microsoft. Voice memos go to the Foundation's server for Bob and Ken, may be transcribed by ElevenLabs, and are deleted after 14 days. The quick questions stay entirely in your browser. If live chat is unavailable, Wren switches to the quick questions. A starting point, not legal advice. See also the AI guide for Rotary members and 10 Questions About Your AI Policy.

Leading a group? Print do's and don'ts cards (four to a page, with Wren's QR code on the front) for a meeting or a noticeboard, or use the QR code alone in a newsletter or slide.
